Round Two

The Chicago Blackhawks are on the way for the cup, I am not saying that they will win, but they're are on the second round. You know that anything can happen but I could hope. The boys are playing well and Niemi is doing well and thats all we can ask. So Chicago lets hoot and holler for the boys, GO HAWKS and we'll see on the next round

SkillsUSA Leadership Conference

I just got back from the SkillsUSA Leadership Conference, Illinois Chapter in Springfield and had a great time. When I first competed I thought it was lame, but when it was over, it was so worth it. This will be my second time going. Last year at the State competition I received a gold medal-customer service, and silver-job demonstration. This year, 2010 I received a gold-job interviewing, silver-job description. Another competitor, Lluvia Collazo and I will be going along with three other competitors from the HVACR department from Elgin Community College, Elgin, IL. From there we will be heading to Kansas City, MO for the Nationals in June.

As a matter of fact at the state competition the HVACR guys dominated the state skills tournament. So for any ECC students reading this, be sure to congratulate the guys for the great work that then have done.

The week 2 of Feb

The week has been good, class wise, I didn't win any pools from the Superbowl, oh by the way to the Saints congrats and to its fans! Go Blackhawks - Bulls! Have to look forward to Chicago teams. The Bulls will have a couple of days of due to the All Stars game in a few days. They can use the rest.

As for ECC we have a long weekend due to the holiday, yippe! Coming back to school has been pretty cool after so long. I wasn't sure about it but you know I am enjoying it, even better when I am done, it has been such a learning experience. I wish I could see my Neurologist at the Rehabilitation Institure of Chicago to show him just how much I have improved.

Super Bowl weekend

Well the end of another football season to to end on Sunday. I guess that if I have to cheer for any team I hope that Indianapolis will win, Go Colts, after all I am from Indiana, but will always be a Chicago Bears fan. There is still the Hawks and the Bulls to cheer on.

This week it has been a busy week with classes and all that. Can't wait to get on with my life. Being middle-age and the economy can be scary but you have to move on and not worry about that. Well gotta go.....

wanted to see how many other Chicago Bear fans are fed up with Jerry Angelo. Ever since he came into the organization he has made mistake after mistake. I feel that it started when he had the anouncement of the new head coach (before Lovie) and the coach didn't agree to it. If the team is going to go further it starts with a change in the head office.
